No, but it had to increase for many of the future prophecies to be able to be fulfilled.

Sean, you are Seismologist?
OK, explain the above record holding earthquake?
Also explain what a 11.0 on the Richter scale would do.

......And it was instantly share throughout the world.
You see, "earthquakes in divers places" needs the information age to be readily understood as a sign to a specific generation.
It would have been useless to the Apostles 2000 years ago, by the time the info got to them, if ever.

How about if you explain all of these for us?

Well, that's not true. Because information traveled quickly. But I understand that your information concerning history comes from watching the Flintstones. But if you took the time to put down your crayons and Jim Jones coloring books. You would find that information traveled quickly through the Roman world. But that isn't what I asked you. I asked you to explain the Chiliean 1960 earthquake. It is the largest in recorded history. Why haven't it increase? Do you understand we have earthquakes everyday? Great, and some which barely register? If these were to increase? Why haven't they?

Re: 8.4 magnitude quake off the Mexican coast
Fact is, if an earthquake happened in different areas of the world 2000 years ago, there was no way to record it and no news system to distribute it as an earthquake. There was no newspaper in Rome either.
The only way to know if there are earthquakes around the globe is with modern technology.
Face it DB, it was a future sign to all that would hear the gospel, not just for the Apostles.

So, DB resorts to silly posts instead.

Re: 8.4 magnitude quake off the Mexican coast
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
I have instant access to your hurricane and the stress involved in it, from about 2000 miles away.
2000 years ago, it may have took a lifetime to hear about your hurricane today.
By then, it would have lost it's newsworthiness.

Daniel 12:4King James Version (KJV)
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Yes, knowledge must be increasing to allow folks to see the signs together and prep the way for the mark.
