Balderdash! Meal on wheels? No reason for the government to pay for it.

Medicare coverage? If you really believe Trump and Congress will take away Medicare coverage, you're really dumb. Sorry, I don't want to attack you personally, but that's just stupid. Really, really stupid and ignorant and just not very bright. Even if Trump wanted to get rid of Medicare, Congress as a whole would oppose it -- GOP and Democrats alike.

The AHCA, which was passed by the House, kept pre-x coverage, so that's a complete lie.

Housing subsidies, again, why should the government be responsible for this?

CHIP cuts: see the note about Medicare coverage. No way it's going away.

Jobs will be created where there is demand, which is how it should be. obama tried manufacturing tech jobs and ended up with Solyndra.

Trump has promised to pass a massive infrastructure bill, which will spend billions on repair for bridges, highways, etc. That will bring new job contracts.

College grants slashed? Why should it be free? Bernie went on and on about free college, but we'd all be paying in taxes for his college for all plan.

Which brings us to taxes being raised. This is another false liberal talking point.

And besides, you were feeling the Bern during the primary, which means this doesn't really bother you as long as its something you support. So no need for false outrage about the fake news of taxes being raised. With Trump's plan, taxes will be cut.

Liberal propaganda. Do you know who was helped most by obama? The rich. obama's policies benefited the rich, more than the middle class and poor.

More liberal propaganda. Do you have any actual proof and numbers to back up this stuff? Sorry, I keep forgetting. Liberals don't care about proving their claims. They just throw stuff at the wall and hope it sticks.

I'm not a Trump voter, but I gained (as previously posted) Hillary Clinton not being POTUS. I also gained a SCOTUS Justice who, according to many, will be a good, conservative Justice and keep the court away from the left.

That's not how the Constitution works.

Social Security is not the same as Medicare, WIC, etc. It is a compulsory program that was upheld by SCOTUS on the basis it is nothing more than a tax. You might not be aware that under the Social Security act, the Federal Government is not obligated to give anyone a dime.

Technically it does with the 10th amendment which says that any rights not specifically given to the Federal government by the Constitution automatically fall to the States....

Billionaires are making out like bandits, with our tax dollars.

I'm just wandering, at the end of the day, what will the average Trump voter have gained?

Re: What Did You Get Out of Voting For Trump?

My mother in law, Mary, is 78 years old. The proposed cuts to Medicare will significantly cut her prescription coverage. These are prescriptions that she needs. These aren't negotiable. They are not optional. She's on a fixed income. The amount she will have to pay is more than she can afford on her income. She might have to sell her house and move in with us and allow us to help pay for her medications. She'll lose the house she's worked for.

Thanks Trump voters.

P.S.
She's a Trump voter too.

Bro, there is not one thing that doesn't impact your life in some way. If someone brings up PTSD you have it. Ultra Conservatives, you were there. Rabbinical Jewish question comes up, you were married to a woman who had someone in her family who wore a skullcap, Health Care situation going sideways? Voilà, you have someone in your tool bag you can emotionally parade before us. My man, this is too funny.

Real people are going to suffer. You're not wanting to see the toll of your man's policies?

Re: What Did You Get Out of Voting For Trump?

She's spunky. I asked her what she gained out of voting for Trump. She said, "Not a d**n thing. He's trying to kill me!"

There are millions like her.

We should take the time to give a cheer and thank all the Trump voters out there.
