Re: True Jesus Church = not saved

While I don't believe in baptizing infants, is there anything WRONG with baptizing infants?

Is there anything WRONG with baptising unbelievers?

I think we should baptise who the bible says qualify - 'if thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest'.

Yeah, they took a few verses completely out of context and used it to justify a practice that has ZERO Biblical support.

Yes. I have also read Reformed and Catholic arguments from Scripture in support of infant baptism. They all fail miserably, imo.

Who ever is using JD's account right now should stop

That isn't cool using someone's account without their knowledge.

He said to his disciples, “Unless you change and become like little children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.”
So it is more proper for infants than for adults to be baptised. This is one of the spiritual things that God reveals to little children – Infant Baptism."

These folks are primarily "baptized" as babies, meaning they aren't baptized at all. What a shame.
Lets just chalk it up to another large group of people who believe oneness, baptism in Jesus Name and the initial evidence doctrine, who are not saved. Ya'll already eliminated all trinitarians, all "liberal" "charismatic" apostolics, and several conservatives who dont agree, so just keep whittling "the church down" until its yall 4 and no more.....it is the "apostolic" way, isnt it?

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
