Fair Tax, not fair tax.

Re: The Fair Tax is cronyism?

IF the POTUS is supposed to 'manage the economy', then why is anyone complaining that Trump got involved with a deal which resulted in saving American jobs and keeping American business in America?

Of course, the Consteetooshun don't say anything about the president having lick spittle to do with the economy, but all the Baal-worshipping demoturds and repukecrats seem to think that the president's job is to make sure the economy does well, so...

It is the same thing, but you're too biased and blinded to see it. Trump is tweeting, bullying private businesses to demand they stay here or else. As POTUS, he has no business doing this.

It's incredible the hypocrisy here. Had obama demanded Trump make his ties in the US or face penalties, Trump would have flipped out.

It was wrong for W, wrong for obama and it's wrong for Trump.

POTUS, regardless of party, has NO BUSINESS picking winners and losers, bullying or making demands of private businesses. Period.

Mark Levin says it right - "Economic authoritarianism has now arrived; sorry, there is no other way to put it. I am reminded of Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt, both of whom used the power of the federal government to intimidate and even crush legitimate, law-abiding businesses for failing to abide by their political demands. This is a disgrace, and we should all object to it. It concerns me to no end that there are putative Republicans and conservatives who rally around such un-American and destructive strong-arm tactics. And the fact that it is declared by a recent convert to the Republican Party, as opposed to a Democrat, doesn't excuse it; indeed, it should be even more alarming."

Another Levin exaggeration. Again, the corporate tax plan Trump wants will make all of these bullying accusations moot very soon.

Pres-Elect Trump means well. But won't his 35% tariff idea raise prices on American families? How would it not be a new 35% tax on families?
