You can see how even Bernie had to keep his composure throughout that fleeting moment. Bernie took it as.... a call to peace. I believe in my heart of hearts, this shows who God voted for. Too bad, the corruption of mankind sidelined the man God ordained for a shallow woman who felt entitled to the White House and a churlish man filled with greed and the lust for power.
Do you really believe that? That God's will was thwarted in this election?

Too funny

I was only expressing an opinion.

I believe God's will is thwarted every day. God doesn't will that man sin. Yet man does. Even in ancient Israel, Israel thwarted God's perfect will in choosing Saul as king.

When discussing "God's will" I believe it is important to distinguish between God's "perfect will" and God's "permissive will".

I'm an Apostolic. I believe in One God and the fullness of Acts 2:38 salvation. However, I've been fellowshipping a small Quaker community on occasion wherein I'm welcome to share my understanding. From them, I've gained a greater understanding of silent worship.

So as I understand what you are saying is this: you see that perfect will of God was thwarted, but God's permissive will allowed Donald Trump to get elected.

I guess we could go "round and round" about the will of God. Suffice it to say though, it reminds me of two football teams, with each side bending a knee and praying before the game that they win. Does God really care about who wins a silly football game?

And the same with this election. We think that God really cares about who is in office. But I wonder, how seriously does He take this? I don't claim to know that.

But I do believe our God, who knows the end from the beginning, sets up and takes down kingdoms at His will to accomplish His greater purpose, whether it be judgment or blessing. We cannot claim to know the mind of the Lord or to see what the future holds. We must trust that whatever happens, He is ultimately in control of it all.

I will say, with all the negativity in this past election, the bird landing on Bernie's podium was truly inspirational. You can tell it almost brought him to tears too.

Oh good grief.

Dude, Bernie lost. So either the bird was confused, or you are.

I believe God gave us a sign. But did America listen? Nope. And so we were confronted with the two possible worst candidates in history. And, in my opinion, we even got the worst one of the two. lol
