I believe the difference with this occasion was the perceived "attack" on a minor child.
EB has been able to go toe to toe with those who have "attacked" OP's and give as good as he gets.
And quit playing the one side does this more than the other card.
Both sides have been equally guilty.
Reminds me of a verse about a beam in someone's eye.

That's true. Some are more "tough skinned" than others, but that should never give us license to personally attack the character of those that we don't agree with or even dislike.

Words hurt, and have lasting consequences. I pray that the Lord would season all our words with love and grace.

In a rebuke, debate or discussion, it is possible to state your opinion and thoughts without being demeaning and hateful.

Right! The Bible calls that preaching.

It's what guys like u call foolishness.

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

"For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."

Sometimes preaching his offensive that's when it's time to REPENT.

A real Holy Ghost filled Apostolic, loves that kind of preaching because it produces change in the right direction

It's red meat for cons. They love damning people who don't believe exactly as they do to hell. They'll run the aisles and roll on the floors when the preacher starts bashing someone for not believing what he believes.
