Playing the "this world is not my home" card will come back to bite you hard.

The word of Jesus on kingdoms:

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

if you think this saying of Christ constitutes an admonition not to work to make your country better, then you should embrace the JW stand of not voting.

We need the religious liberty at a State and local level that our revolutionary forbearers gave to us. The 2016 election has little to do with this, though the results could either slow the inevitable separation or speed it up. I'm more concerned about the States retaining their rights than I am "promoting Christianity at every level". Our problem is not a religious problem, it's a constitutional problem. But concerning the candidates, Trump is the only one pointing out how Christians in America and around the world are losing their rights. You are a lover of the Federal branch. You think the cure to all our ills is the right "Federal" leaders. The real solution is adherence to the Constitution. And what will you suggest when we come up one State shy of ratification of the proposed amendments passed by the Convention of States? Do 36 States have bow to the will of the other 14 who reject the constitution? Will you still exalt your "union at all costs" garbage then?
Again, be consistent. Don't call for Christians to do anything when you support a candidate who violates the main tenets of Christianity, also stating he hasn't asked for forgiveness neither feels he has ever done anothing he needed forgiveness for. You will simply keep running around in a circle trying to put out fires that you supported in the first place. Instruct Christians to pray and vote their conscience. That is about all, at this point you have the right to do. Start at the beginning.

You are certainly deluded, aren't you? Unlike you, my world does not revolve around Trump. By your standards most of our Founding Fathers were not qualified to hold office, much less found the republic. And "voting your conscience" obviously is only a small part of what is needed to turn this country around. We are farther gone than you are willing to admit.

Re: Christian lead separatist movement

It will not work, because the fiercest opposition to a Christian society will come from .... Christians.

Re: Christian lead separatist movement

The Founding Generation of men and women who settled in the Colonies and whose children and grandchildren and great grandchildren fought the War of Independence were a different breed than what's left of their posterity today.

This generation simply doesn't have it in them like our forefathers did. If they did, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Teach your children to teach theirs. Lord willing, a generation will someday arise that will have their heads screwed on straight.

The same ones who won't vote for Trump on "Christian principles". Fine. They don't have to live in Texas and aren't wanted there to begin with.
