Re: Oneness Pentecostals in 1911?
This is my home church. Born and raised in Newark. My grandfather Howard Dyer pastored there from 1947-1970. My uncle by marriage RA Newstrand pastored there from 1970-2006. I was a youth pastor there from 1987-1991, then again from 1992-2000. My parents are still members and my dad is a Trustee.
I had always heard 1916 as the start date under Frush. He has relatives that still attend that church. We celebrated the church's diamond anniversary (75th) in 1991. Billy Cole preached the weekend services. I was somewhat surprised when in 2011 the church celebrated 100 years under the new pastoral leadership. I don't know how the narrative of 1916 changed, UNLESS Frush, like many OPs of that era was a trinitarian first, began his ministry in 1911, then got the revelation of Jesus Name and the church became oneness in 1916. That would seem a more likely scenario. I don't think you can find modern OPs until 1914.

When a newspaper posed the question, "What's Wrong with the World?" G. K. Chesterton reputedly wrote a brief letter in response: "Dear Sirs: I am. Sincerely Yours, G. K. Chesterton." That is the attitude of someone who has grasped the message of Jesus.
