Happy Father's Day

One of my Children's Church teachers called me today to get my opinion on an idea she had.

They are going to make "Father's Day" cards for God, tie them on a string, attach it to a helium balloon, and let it go!

I thought it was a great idea.

What do you think?


(Not that it matters, since the Potentate Pastor has decreed it to be OK! LOL!)

Either I am taking my hubby out to his favorite Chinese place or making him a great big pot of his favorite gumbo.I don't know which he prefers yet.

Tomarrow will be my very first Fathers day. Oh the years I set in church on Fathers day watching the other fathers get little prizes for being a dad, all the while I was a little jealous. Well, I'm glad I finally made the ranks of dad-hood. It's great to be a father. Thanks Marg.
