3 months would be a little while. If helping them took longer and I had the ability to do it, then I'd probably go the distance.

I know the RIGHT attitude to have and I am trying to trust God for the unknowns.

Well, only way to find out is set'em up in your living room and if they start putting those black face masks on and start chanting Allah akba! Something might be happening that may not be too pleasant. Yet no worries, take out the Mossberg and spray hot spaghetti-Os all over the walls! Because after all that is the Christian thing to do.

Re: Christian refugees not welcome?
Then another angle I just thought of is the hold idea of unrepentant sin.
If there was an American who needed help and was a blatant sinner, I'd probably not want them in my home and depending on the exact sin of choice, it would be highly detrimental to my walk with the Lord to even be around them for a long period of time.
So in the context of Muslim refugees-- they're sinners, heathens, unrepentant as they're usually not interested in converting to Christ.
So should I only help people as long as they're interested in converting to Christ? Should I only help people as long as there is a chance they will join my church?
If I error on the side of love and compassion, I believe the Lord will take care of the rest.
The older I get, the more I realize that there isn't much in life that is clear cut.
Real life is filled with ambiguity.

Would you Bible study them and bring them to an Apostolic church?

If they were willing... I'd do all that and more. Maybe not an Apostolic church though...

Oh a Trinitarian? Nothing like making the job harder.

Yes, I believe that as well, but you might foul things up by bringing them to a Threeist church. They already have been warned since childhood against the three god worshippers.

So, since they're not 'saved' then let them eat cake, right?

Uh, yeah they did, as a matter of policy. Oh wait, you voted for the big 0, right?

Some dummy said we should consider only letting the Christian Syrians in and of course, there are some who think that is a good idea.

In our old neighborhood we had a family of Syrians. They were catholic, I think Maronite or maybe Byzantine Catholic? One of the Eastern rites, anyway.
Very nice people. VERY pro constitution, very conservative. They thought America was going down the tubes with immorality and that somehow a Communist supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood got in the white house.
Yea, I guess Jermyn is right, we probably don't need more people like that coming here. Better to have military aged males expecting their 72 virgins (thanks to some nice Israeli colouring books they got when they were young... oops!)
