Whether one accepts it or not, is up to them.
These arguments about incorrect translations do nothing to further the Kingdom of God, and only serve to alienate unbelievers.

Re: The Original Matthew 28:19 Restored
The translation issue with these verse is a major one. Look how many people have been lead astray to a false doctrine because of matt 28:19

God will protect the truth of His word. We are commanded to rightly divide that Word of truth.
P.S. The KJV is clear enough for me. The hard to discern scriptures ussually are hard to discern in other translations also.

Re: The Original Matthew 28:19 Restored
Most all New Testaments are translated from Greek manuscripts. If a few manuscripts from other languages have a variant reading, it has a minimal impact on the Greek manuscripts.
The variant readings documented in the "restored" Mt. 28:19 are Coptic. A Coptic variant reading does not have any impact on the Greek manuscript of Matthew.

I explicitly stated that the KJV was a "translation".

Exactly the point I was trying to make. There's no need to "fix" the translation, because God would not allow His people to be without a proper translation of His Word.

If it was good enough for Jesus and the Apostles it should be good enough for us!

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: The Original Matthew 28:19 Restored
Translating Mt. 28:19 from Greek into English is rather simple. There are no translation issues with this passage.

Some people would love to change the Bible to fit their pet doctrines but we must deal with the Scripture as it is.
