Re: Republicans Push $269 Billion Handout For Mill

As someone who worked my way from poverty to fairly well off, I can tell you that it was all work.
This thread illustrates the main problem we have today with dialogue.
Everyone wants to paint everyone else with a broad brush.
And point fingers...

No not all. Just the bankers and lazy heirs and heiress.

But of course, Fox News has done a good job of getting you to place your lips on the butts of the uber rich. But of course the middle class and poor are lazy.

Poor people have been voting for Democrats for the last fifty years... and they are still poor.

Many, many of the poor are lazy.
Not all, but many.
As someone who used to be poor, I know.
By the way it doesn't mean God loves them any less.
But I do believe that when someone receives Christ they receive a touch of the divine.
Which may not lift them totally out of poverty, but I have always seen it help.

God loves them more than the rich. Jesus never said help the rich. He never told the poor to give more to help the rich. But like I said, the supposed conservative media has done a good job of convincing the middle class GOPers to love the rich and hate the poor. Why?

Re: Republicans Push $269 Billion Handout For Mill

How much money have we spent since the "war on poverty"?
And yet the "poverty rate" has remained fairly constant.

And insofar as God loves the poor more than the rich, tell that to Job...

Tell that to Jesus. How about this, your financial situation has nothing to do with how much god loves you. I just know what jesus said.

Middle class GOP'ers give far more to charitable causes to help the poor than liberal Dems.

FMC - I like being challenged! And I do like retorting! However, I have to get back to work.
See you tomorrow!
