Re: ESPN's Stephen A. Smith: Vote GOP

Why don't you take his comments seriously? Is it because he's just a talking head (a loud, annoying one at that) on a sports show?
And you're wrong about why I posted this. I posted this because of his comments about Rand Paul, not because he's a rare "minority speaking out against the DEM party."

He says stuff on TV only later to come out and say not to take anything he says seriously. Look what he said about Chip Kelly being racist. He back tracked and said he wasnt serious and that it was all for show So anything he says on race relations isnt relevant.

So you don't think the Dem Party has taken the black vote for granted, that the GOP has mostly given up on even trying to gain their votes, or that because of the possibility of these two issues that blacks are under-represented? I don't think anyone can argue against what he said, regardless of his past statements. He may not be relevant, but what he said is.
Is the black community better after the past decades of voting for the Democrat Party?

Re: ESPN's Stephen A. Smith: Vote GOP
Seems like the migration in the US is from the North to the South.
Hard to believe.

That's not an answer.
Has the Dem Party taken the black voter for granted?
Has the GOP given up on trying to win the black vote?
If so, has this caused black voters to be unrepresented in Congress?
Has the past decades of voting for the Dem Party done anything to help the black community?
Also, who says "poor, white people" from the south vote GOP? Based on the Dem Party's love for government assistance and the GOP's desire to cut those benefits, I would bet most don't vote GOP.
