But allow me to say this, and I hope no one gets offended.

Using a Vitamix and drinking smoothies of fruit, greens, or bacon, cannot get you on the road to health unless you get up and exercise. Not just walking around your block, but cardio for at least an hour, and (if weights are too much for you) calisthenics using your own body weight will help tremendously. You would be surprised what a 20.00 chin up bar placed in the doorway of a room in your home could do for you. So combine your Vitamix smoothies with some good cardio and calisthenics.
Offended??? OK, so we're talking AFF here right?! Are you mentioning bacon and that big bad ugly word exercise all in one mouthful? LOL...

I get lots of exercise, and I eat lots of healthy veggies, and bacon is almost nonexistent in my diet. Now, are you offended about the lack of bacon in my diet!

OK, but you must know the benefits of animal proteins.

I know, I hear that often when I bring up exercise.

But could you describe to me what you do within a 5 day period which you would consider exercise?

Not offended at all. You are exactly right - we must exercise. I am using my chin up bar right now as I type this response.

Plenty of animal protein in my diet! Organic, and grass fed beef and chicken - yum!

I walk/jog 3-4 miles five days a week, sometimes more with our dogs, and this involves hills/mountain hikes as well. I always make sure to get my heart pumping good while exercising. In my opinion, I don't think you've exercised unless you've broke a sweat. I don't do weights, but have considered it.

Turkey bacon isn't that bad! When I make homemade pizza, I like to use turkey pepperoni.

Remember Titus2Woman? If I remember right, she talked about what she fed her pigs, and that bacon from her pig was high quality because of what she fed her pig. I would love to have a slice of bacon from her pigs. If I could find someone who cared about what the pig ate and get pork from that pig, I probably would eat more bacon. But as it is, I don't like to buy pork from the grocery store.

Re: Green Smoothie and a Blender Question

Now let's talk about getting wheat out of the diet?

Do some research on the Frankenwheat called gliadin!
