Re: Scholars find Matt.28:19 to be fraudulent.

The apostles spend how many years with Jesus? How come they didnt obey his instructions and baptize in the trinitarian formula?

It just gave them a verse to "hijack" for their own purpose. The Lord has kept a separation between the trinitarians and oneness believers(that teach Jesus name baptism) for His "prized possession".
Ummm. I dont think that's the reason. Nor do I think there are any Biblical grounds for saying the oneness people are God's prized possession, apparently implying trinitarians are chopped liver.

Funny... People believe that the bible is the infallible word of God except for Matthew 28:19

Re: Scholars find Matt.28:19 to be fraudulent.

I believe it is as part of the Bible as the other 2 gospels' last words of Jesus(Mark, Luke). Im sure He said more to them than they actually wrote as He was getting ready to ascend. They just wrote the "necessary things" that the Holy Ghost inspired them to write when the time came for them to write the Gospels.
