Gods aways with me when I go into Walmart, I know this cause I have not choaked anyone yet that was standing in the middle of the isle talking to someone while I was tring to get around and them not moving on

I agree with the main part of your post about limiting God and yes....the "brainwashed" mindset is present throughout all Christianity....trust me I could go on a soapbox rant.The kneejerk mindset on certain issues ect.

there's nothing wrong with wanting to go to a meeting and expecting a good service.

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I agree....I think the main point of contention is frustration with how God is limited to certain time certain place certain part of the service after certain songs are sung or maybe after certain "cheerleading" is performed.....what really annoys me is that people treat social media as a dumping ground for tons of "spiritual chain letters" "The angels have seen you struggle.....how many likes for Jesus.....like for Jesus ignore for the devil....repost and God will bless you.ect"

The difference might just be the kind of church one attends.
I enjoy meeting my friends.
The prayer time is uplifting.
Love the singing.
The preaching is always refreshing.
Now that I think about it, I'm excited about church tomorrow.
