Trovere, this is the side conversations that the "Hairspray Thread" took from time to time as it bobbed and wove along.
They as this thread, were excellent thoughts for discussion.
Marriage is not 50-50 it is 110-110 if you give enough you then support your spouse on all sides.

I would say that this is correct. Christ gives his all for his bride, and his bride forsakes all to follow him. 100% giving with nothing held back.

I wonder though Brother Hoover.We as christians go through alot of spiritual warfare.I think the enemy especially wars the apostolic marriage.You can be single for years and everything is going great but get married and start binding together in prayer and fasting and walking in one mind and one accord and the enemies come out of the woodwork.I think alot of couples don't realize what a threat they are to the devil.

Perhaps. But no matter, I think Christian marriages should be far, far more successful and more happy than other marriages, devil or no devil.

I don't think it's the devil in all cases, nor does he just seek out apo. I think to many want pass the buck and say the devil doing this or that, instead of realizing it's their own doings that lead to hardships or misunderstandings. The devil can't be everywhere at once, the fact is you are now one with another, so things are not going to be the same as when it was only you.

Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Usually before a really awesome service the aggrevation sets in.I have to really watch it as I am called to intercession.When the call comes you get
very aggrevated feeling in your spirit and know you have to hurry down
to the church to begin to call on God.If you don't and ignore it an argument is sure to break out.I have learned over the years that this is one of the enemie greatest tactics.
