It differs . . .

There are times when I like to put in a worship cd with songs I've compiled and blare it loud when I pray . . .

Other times, like Thad, I find peace and rest in the silence and enjoy quietly meditating on God's Word.

Alone time. It is when I can weep and the enemy knows it isn't for show and he doesn't pester me as much then. Those are the times when I find the breakthroughs that I have been seeking.

I used to have a place in my old hometown where I went to be alone with God. I miss it. God spoke to me on issues then that have fueled me to where I am today.

Abraham went out to meet the Lord. That speaks volumes of his life and personal consecration.

I like to turn up my favorite tunes too, especially while driving....

Praying softly, reading the Bible, and contemplating mountains. Sometimes, I start my prayer and then just feel compelled to sit quietly with my eyes closed . Often, that is when I feel the sweetest spirit of God.

In the mountains or by a stream. I think He must like mountains.

Sometimes, if I am listening to classical music, I find myself praying.

Stillness.
