Church is not a restaurant

- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

Re: Breast feeding during worship.
The sanctuary is not the best place to nurse a baby, there are usually other rooms to go to.
But, I think our society is a little too uptight about nursing mothers.
As long as the mother is nursing discretely and keeping herself covered, who cares.
I think the problem is really the "breast obsession" of our culture, seriously, think of it as a cow udder. If you were at the zoo and you saw a monkey nursing her baby, would that freak you out?

Re: Breast feeding during worship.
It's really refreshing to be around our local group of Burmese believers. The women nurse their babies without hesitation and the men and boys don't even blink twice or even act uncomfortable in the slightest.
Western culture is really twisted. However, because our culture is so overly-sexualized, it is more prudent for women to breastfeed in private. Not preferable, in my opinion, but prudent and discreet.
Kicking a woman out of church for nursing a baby seems like overkill, unless she was really baring a lot of skin or being purposefully shocking in some way.

I hate that when she does that.
But I forgive her.

Re: Breast feeding during worship.
Great comment from the bottom of a news article about this incident:
