I agree. I think we should all work on being out of debt and stay that way. We didn't panic over Y2K and I'm not going to start now. Whatever happens, we will always have God.

Yes and I think we should work on getting out of bad debt. For example, the banks use debt as an asset, basically, and we can do the same when we use other people's money, which becomes our own debt to gain cash flow. As long as the cash flow exceeds the debt, it is good debt. We are trying to do this now. The negative to that is, of course, businesses can go belly-up too. But, if the economy implodes, nobody is going to be doing well anyway. I think people should be reasonably prudent regardless of if the economy is going to implode or not, but when you know you have negative forces working against you, as we all do, it is a greater incentive to work hard to make things happen. For example, $40,000 today is not going to be $40,000 in 15 years. A lot of times, people don't understand that concept. But inflation is basically a tax on your money. If you are not gaining any interest on that money, your money becomes worth less than it once did.

I spoke to a professor of economics once about the state of the economy. Her solution was more and more stimulus. She said that the US economy was not like a household. I get that, I think, but I still didn't understand how MORE of the same could be the solution.

Her attitude and name calling don't bother me one bit. Sometimes people DO need to be called names. Nasty ones even! I actually like her speaking style. But far more then that I think what she says is spot on. I particularly agree with her assessment that going back to the gold standard would do next to nothing as far as stabilizing our currency. This current administration would simply fudge the numbers about how much gold the Gov is in possession of.

Or they will confiscate the gold anyway. They have done it before. I think having other literal possessions is where it's at. And I agree with her on that point.

I did finish the whole series. Wow, this woman is MAD!! When I saw the end where she said she is going to Rome to die or whatever, I realized that she believes she is called to do what she is doing. Okay, I get that. Sometimes, yeah, you need to be mad. I guess I reserve judgment. But I wouldn't want to hang around with her.

She has done other video's and given various interviews which gives a lot of insight as to why she is so angry at the powers-that-be in government. For her, her clients money is sacred and she gets VERY angry when describing stuff that the gov did to literally steal her customers funds.

Someone sent this to me the other day. It's hard to listen to her talk about Jesus Christ while in the same breath she says,

"Those poor starving bas****"

"Bull****"

"If you sit on your ***, you are bringing hell and judgment down upon yourself and we will deserve it."

Not a great representation of, I guess, she claims to be a Christian.

I completely agree. I found it very distasteful. The worst part, I felt was where she talked about shooting people.

Okay. I will give it a shot. Peter Schiff is half crazy too. I like his ideas to a degree but he sounds like a broken record. I saw an interview once with someone who was AGREEING with him and he kept arguing his point. They were asking him what he felt the solution was and it was like he was having a different conversation than the interviewer.
