Jeff? Is that you?

My opinion, then: DM doesn't owe anyone an "apology" for making a mistake. He can admit that he misunderstood a satirical piece as a literal news article if he wants, but it isn't really necessary.

I'll agree with you only if DM says that he knew the piece was satirical and still posted it disingenuously as truth.

If you knew it was satirical and posted it as truth, that would be disingenuous and might require an apology, or at least a, "Pardon me, I misled you for my own entertainment." If you didn't realize it was satirical, no apology is necessary and the demands for an apology are rather silly and juvenile, IMO.
i had no idea it was satire

No, I didn't know it was satire. Someone sent it to me and I was reading the information at the exact moment you started the thread. I opened a new tab to see if you reported it here and you did. LOL! If you had not posted, I would have sat on the information, but since I don't like Romney, I decided to include my factual clip about Ryan. Did you view it?

I thought it may have some merit because DeMint left the campaign to start a lobbying job and other rumblings I've read going on in the campaign.

What to watch for now, after the first debate, is to see if Rove will pull out of the PAC ads. He won't waste the money people have given him.

Yes, you are right - Pawlenty left for a bank lobbying job. I don't know why, but I always get those two mixed up. lol
