Don't look now, but the Cards have moved up to second place in the anemic NL Central. A mere 6 and 1/2 games behind the Brewers.

Do you think they can hold their lead and make it to the playoffs?
Dear Pastor Poster, LaGirl and Pianoman:

Let's just look at the current standings until they are not in first place.

Yes Albert did just hit 2 homers in a game to Win over Houston. But Houston we have a problem.

It was so sweet to see Sweet Lou just melt down to the Nuclear Core over the weekend.

As for the Brewers we have the #1 and #2 Homerun hitter.

He have a top flight rookie thirdbaseman in Ryan Braun just up from AAA.

I look for the Brewers to win the division.

Only because we are the sorriest division in MLB.

I know the Brewers will win more than 83 games....

I am heading out the Brewers and Cubs game tonight....

It will be a blast......

Weeks is not a Lead Of hitter. He will struggle when cming back if they put him in Leadoff.

Cards management doesn't care if they win or not this year. They did nothing to improve the team. I hope the Brewers win if the Cards don't.

i dont care if he is lead-off.... i only expect .280 20-20 out of him.... 15-15 is probably closer to what he'll end up with though....

I predict that the Brewers will barely be above .500 this year.

Are the Brewers gonna choke?

Milwaukee 57 49
Chicago Cubs 55 49 1 game back
St. Louis 49 53 6 games back.

It's gettin' hot up in here!

Sorry, but it doesn't really matter anyway because the team to beat this year is my team, the Boston Red Sox!!!!
