They will vote for whomever they want and proceed to second ballot. It would be historic. This is my opinion, even if Romney were still to win, it would clear the air and at this point, I believe it is totally necessary. They have ticked off a lot of people.
Another thing that is important is that the lawsuit will set a precedent for future elections. The RNC has strong armed this cycle, but we won't have that in the future. There are people in every state trying to locate all delegates. The lawsuit is for them and not just the Paul delegates.
We are waiting for the ruling any moment. They went up until 9:00 p.m in California on the first appeal, so I don't know an exact time. The judge is a Clinton appointee and so he has no skin in the game.
I'll post as soon as I hear, but I have to log out and cook dinner. Hope the ruling doesn't come down while I"m cooking.
