Re: Paul Ryan will be VP Pick

A testament to Paul Ryan's intellect and his patient ability to discuss issues in a rational engaging manner is the fact that he keeps getting re-elected in a congressional district that has voted for Obama and the Democrat Presidential candidates before him for the last several decades. Not only has Ryan won in a Democrat district but he wins with huge margins, over 60%.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

Since the RNC has been breaking all their rules, I wonder if Romney knows that choosing his VP pick is up to the delegates at Tampa?

Let me come back to add, because I like reality - I think the timing (so that all we hear about in the next few days is Paul Ryan) is because, his top spokeswoman (Andrea Saul) made the Romneycare gaffe (Although, I didn't view that as a gaffe). Not to mention Governor Lepage (Maine) said he would boycott the Convention if his Maine delegates are not seated. They also, with the delegate lawsuit ongoing, want to walk into Tampa saying, "But we can win with Ryan."

What an uneducated post!

No one is stoping minorities, elderly or young people from voting. That is just stupid!

How about rejoining reality? You know good and well that historically the Presidential candidate picks his running mate and the convention ratifies that pick with their selection. To act like it is something other than that is just not being honest. It has been a very long time since an unwanted VP candidate was forced up a Presidential candidate.

Great post Untraditional! But we'll have to give Obama credit. He and his minions have trained, brainwashed and blinded some folks to where they have become "little Obamaites" who can't see, think or speak the truth, just like him.

DM and BS must be twins. They sound like it. I think BS has simply changed names. She sounds like a poster from Mississippi who use to spew out the same garbage. (Can't think of her former name! Someone help me out!) Thank you Obama! Garbage in garbage out!

Let's see! Who do I want leading me? A guy, whose past, whose records, birth certificate and everything else about him is sealed, (could he be hiding something?) or a man who has worked hard, made his own way, (even to giving the wealth he inherited from his dad to charity) who took over the Olympics and took them from being in the red to being in the black, a man who is wealthy and can help others to reached goals they have set in their lives. Let's see .... a community organizer from Chicago or a business man who has been successful and who has been charitable, giving much money to his church and to charity.

I want people with credibility and good character leading me. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are men of character. So I say lead on!

You are exactly right. It is a farce beyond sanity to suggest that requiring photo id's for voting is some kind of horrible burden on minorities intended to keep them from voting.

The vote is sacred and I want my vote protected from fraud by insuring people are who they say they are and only vote once in an election.

If someone can find a ride to the liquor store a few times a week I think that every five years or so they can find a ride to get a photo ID. Plus I am sure any number of civic organizations will provide free transportation for those for whom it might be an issue. All of the arguements against voter ID are laughable and bogus.
