So a beard becomes sinful because the Pastor (not the Apostles) says it is?

I see where Paul taught it was a glory for women to have long hair. I also see where he taught women to cover their heads when they pray or prophesy. I see no where in the Bible where anyone taught it was sinful for a woman to trim their hair.

Getting aroused telling women how to dress doesn't make a person apostolic.

Please define the "old standards", especially what makes them old.

Who were the Apostolics in the 1800s? How about the 1900s? How about 2012?

Apostolic is defined by one's prejudices.

Standards as defined in 1940's and 1950's.

Nope, that's not what I said. I said if my Pastor says to be clean shaven while on the platform, I obey.

I don't believe my Pastor makes it out to be a Heaven or Hell issue either. He just prefers the members on the platform to be clean shaven. We have people in our Church that wear mustaches and they are accepted just fine. Hope this helps.
