I am praying for you. My only advice and it is sincere and serious is to ignore those on this thread urging you to take a break from church. The worst advice ever. If you will notice at least one of them giving it took a "break from church " years ago and is still on that break.
If your current church is not ministering to you effectively I am all for you finding one that will. Please just don't lose sight of the fact that the Bible clearly states that God gave us pastors, teachers ,etc for a reason.
More than ever when you are stressed you need spiritual support and guidance and most of all love from a local assembly of believers.
It is not the worst advice ever. Depending on the situation it is the BEST (or worst), or somewhere in the middle, advice ever.
I know it kept me alive.
Now the difference between Matt and me is that I was a teen who had no way to escape the hellish grasp of the Pod People. Matt is older and already on his own and fully capable of changing churches.
And by the way, it IS possible that one may never come back from that break........ But I haven't lost my faith.

Matt...if I was closer dude we'd just go hang and decompress....you just need somebody to empathize....not to lecture you...its easy for people to stand from afar and be distanced from the situation and proclaim "Be warm and be filled"...I think its just something you are walking through brother and you need some friends to walk with you....

Well, I understand...but at least check the ingredients in your happy pills...prozac is mostly fluoride? You think more than about .01% of the pop needs some pill to be right? I'm not aware of anyone on that stuff who is level for any amount of time. And pot recommended only if it's legal in your area, of course.

Ha, how do you like me now? A B12 deficiency will make you suicidal, btw. Same with Omega 3, which you get like none of, it's only used by every cell in your body, hello; or vitamin D. Which have all completely disappeared from Safeway food. But BAM, trash me if it helps you.

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
