That's why I said that my information was not first hand, and that's why I asked for Bro. Epley to either corroborate or correct me.

I did not mean for my remark to sound critical of you. I was merely echoing your sentiment as I had never heard the accusation leveled against him and was interested in hearing the truth from someone who would be more likely to have first hand knowledge. I am sorry if I did not make that clear.

Re: Looking for info about Mark Hanby or Verbal Be
Is it true MH fell into alcoholism and adultery before or right after leaving the UPC?
I am wanting to enter the dimensions he and VB entered into, but without falling like MH. I sometimes feel MH and David Fuller had things they never "took outside the camp & stoned", makes me want to turn some tables over in my own house of prayer.

The key to having what Bro. Bean had is to develop a life of passionate prayer. There is nothing that you will get from God without prayer, fasting, and dedication to reading and study of the Word of God. Without these things, you will not attain the heights that he did.
Second, you need to remain humble. This means that you will have to endure mockings, ridicule, scorn, and scoffers. You will have to understand that you are going to be misunderstood and misrepresented. You will have endure all of it with a good attitude. Read his books, and make them a study.
Also, study the life of Bro. Barnes, Sis. Eastridge, Sis. Ellis, and Bro. and Sis. Freeman. Every one of these people lived in that realm that you wish to enter.
Remain accountable to holy men of God. This will help you to remain grounded, and will help you to avoid going into false doctrine. Be faithful to God, and He will be faithful to you.
I hope that this is helpful. This is by far not the only things, but I do hope that they help. I am not there, but I would like to be myself.

You may have actually gotten this backward. It is probably relatively easy to withstand mocking, ridicule, scorn, and scoffers. The hard part is enduring praise especially after attaining the status of a rock star, for any length of time.

That is the other side of humility. Bro. Bean seems to have been more popular after he died than he was when he was alive. That is likely the way that it should be. That was how it worked for Jesus as well. However, I agree. One needs to watch their attitudes during times of rejection as well as acceptance.

If Eld. Epley sees this post he may be able to corroborate or correct me on this.

I don't know about VB, but one of his associates in the Apostolic Ministerial Fellowship, Joe Duke, would instruct a seeker to repeat this word "Walideau" telling them it meant Thank God in french.
I saw and heard him do this several times during a revival I was in with him in the early 70's
Far to many who get to told, "now you got it, that's the Holy Ghost" have been Wally-Dood thru.
There is simply no biblcal instruction that remotely resembles what we OP's do with and to people in our altars.

Details of Mark Hanby's mistakes should be left under the blood. Nothing good comes from digging up the past.

Verbal Bean - A man of God, what else can be said. I've read the book about Laurel, MS. Can any of you share stories? I really appreciate it. Thanks!

Mark Hanby is still alive, isn't he? Maybe it's good to look at some of the things that caused his fall so we can learn from his mistakes and avoid some of what happened to him. I'm not sure how we humans can do this in a balanced way without judging him or gossiping about him.
