MAN That is so disgusting looking but I still want to see them do it one day (from afar)

Speaking of Joel Hemphill, I thought I say a thread on him the other day??? our ministers in our church got a letter about his New revelation i went out to lunch with the pastor and another minister sunday and they were trying to explain it to me.... I think that Joel was saying that we should no longer worship Jesus just the father???? weirrrrrrrd don't you think??

He has likely been bit many times. Some in those "churches" have disfigured hands and fingers from previous bites.

I have saw them hands myself. I went to visit a couple of these services years ago. It is hard to believe but there is a snakehandling service about 50 miles away in Indiana.

How often do they do it? Like once a year or is it a regular thing??

Yes He was...scared me to death when he talked about it. as a child I went to services at those kind of churches. I never saw a snake handling but I think he was more afraid of what my mother would do to him than what the snake would do. I usually fell asleep this was in the back woods of Arkansas services. It could have happened and I just thought they were having a great alter service...lol this was all about 15 to 20 years ago.

Whenever they feel led. Most of the time they are available just in case.
