I don't know how many shoes I have, but chair skirt covers are a grand storage place. I have 16 dining room chairs with chair skirt covers. So, I have, at least, 16 pairs of shoes. At least four under the bench at the foot of the bed. (No comment from Renda).
More in the closet, in a box under the dining room table and in the bathroom closet. My husband owns 8 pairs of shoes. I just bought him a new pair of Ropers for Christmas.
My daughter told someone that I own 500 movies, so when I got home I counted them. She is right - 518! I have every rendition of
Oliver Twist - "Please sir. May I have some more." Obviously, I have more movies than shoes.
