Re: Shoe HONEST!

Oh man, I regularly rotate between two pairs of tennis shoes. I also have some nicer hiking boots as well as an older pair that are still fine except for some very worn tread. I also have a very cheap pair of dress shoes, a pair of slip on sandles, and a couple of pair of water shoes for swimming at the beach.

Now for a REAL question. How many GUNS do you own? Come on now. Nobody owns just ONE. It is always either none or several. LOL

and where is PO?
I don't know how many shoes I have, but chair skirt covers are a grand storage place. I have 16 dining room chairs with chair skirt covers. So, I have, at least, 16 pairs of shoes. At least four under the bench at the foot of the bed. (No comment from Renda). More in the closet, in a box under the dining room table and in the bathroom closet. My husband owns 8 pairs of shoes. I just bought him a new pair of Ropers for Christmas.

My daughter told someone that I own 500 movies, so when I got home I counted them. She is right - 518! I have every rendition of Oliver Twist - "Please sir. May I have some more." Obviously, I have more movies than shoes.

Now to more serious information:

Facts: Your Body on Three-Inch heels

Back and Neck:
The exaggerated curve in your lower spine puts you at risk for achiness in your upper and lower back.

Hips: The angled-down position of your foot makes your hips work harder when you walk, leading to pain.

Knees: Your knees hyperextend, putting increased pressure on the joint, which can contribute to arthritis.

Calves: Wearing high heels frequently can shorten calf muscles over time, so it hurts to wear flats or go barefoot.

Ankles: Your center of gravity shifts and you're thrown off balance - a twisted ankle waiting to happen.

Feet: A Three-inch heel puts seven times as much stress on your foot as a one-inch heel.

Point: To think we, largely, do this for the opposite sex. No man is worth that much pain - for real!
