Waiting on God's plan??? What kind of answer is this to a "suggestion" to have a friendly dinner together.

A good answer to this would have been ...hey...it's just dinner...not engagement or even steady dating. I'm the type who likes to have friendships...and this may be nothing more than just that. Or something to that effect.

Like T2W says...there is someone for everyone and God will send to you someone who is just right for you. I know because when I was single I prayed for that right one to come along. And he did...29 years ago.

Why be angry Matt... people have all kinds of things on their minds... she may be head over heels in love with someone who doesn't even know she is alive, she may have just been diagnosed with a social disease or be gay... If someone doesn't want to go out with you it probably doesn't have as much to do with you as it does with them...

Apostolic or not, nearly all women want the same thing in a guy. Someone who is tall and someone who has "status" in life. OP women will just tend to spiritualize things more as a way to cover these desires up and appear slightly less shallow, which is, mmmmmm, rather easy to see through. This is why so many want to marry a preacher man! Guy's tend to focus on the appearance more (and how she takes care of herself).
