I would say that having been led away from one school, God surely has another in mind for you. While I can't imagine what might be wrong with the church of titus2woman (i see lots of little branches coming off you already), and would encourage you to find a congregation that honors that church, God may have a better idea.
If you are making the point that no religion is perfect I got that. Not looking to start another Just something not so out of line with my spirit.
Oftentimes myself I find I have more questions than answers about things.

There they can find plenty of fault.
This is too funny. All of your complaints/descriptions have nothing to do with the UPC. You could have just described any church or religion for that matter.
1. You don't understand the Godhead but don't agree with any way it has been taught. How does this hinder your church life ?
2. Define "maniac", rofl . I am assuming that jumping pews and falling in the floor flopping like a fish out of water was required of you ?
3. As opposed to "suppository" teaching ? lol.
4. How does one "practice" modesty without some sort of guideline ?
5. We have so many classes we can attend that allow us to be apart of the discussion it's not even funny.
6. I am assuming you were pulled aside and told you were backslidden for not being there everytime the doors are open ?
7. This sounds like you need a new pastor, lol.
8. See above.
9. Your church preaches "against" worship on Sunday ?
10. Are these things manditory ? Really ?
Sorry but these are not UPC problems, they are a conflict of interest between you and a pastor/church. I hope you find a happy medium somewhere that suits your christian walk. But I doubt it will make a difference what "doctrinal" church you pick, they all will cross at least a couple of your 10 top problems. UPC or not.
You are reading me all wrong Scotty. I don't have any complaints. I was where I was for a reason and now I'm headed where I am going for a reason too. Maybe the last stop for some is the UPC, for me it was not.
But as far as the Godhead goes there is that pesky little problem of having to sit through sermon after sermon about how everyone who doesn't understand the 'oneness of God' exactly the way it's explained is lost and on the way to hell... Which would, by the way, include me and nearly everybody I know except those fully indoctrinated into the UPCI.
I would endeavor to define maniac but you did a good job yourself.
No classes at either UPCI we've attended, ever.
Modesty is more of a heart thing. There are naked women in other countries that are not making any effort to be sexual with it and 'pentecostal legal' women who are harlots at heart.
Attendence is the 'hallmark' of spirituality in both churches we have attended within the UPCI. I get the picture that this is pretty common everywhere.
My pastor is a great guy. The heartbreak of leaving this place will be dissappointing him. But his influence is not strong enough to make me buy the other bull. Unfortunately he, like most UPC preachers who can afford it, has a revolving door of evangilists and other preachers... I don't appreciate political POVs, smart aleck commments (if he got baptized in title, all he got was wet!!!), nasty remarks about certain 'special' sins. Or people that are different religiously being called names, etc. It is not my pastor that lets me know that kind of behavior is acceptable in the UPC... It's seeing it in so many ministers and seeing the reactions of the membership with wild cheering against the homos etc.
About Sat/Sun worship, again you misunderstood or I did a bad job explaining . Our church worshipped on Sunday, we prefer Saturday (since we are Sabbath keepers) but we do not desire a view like that of Seventh Day Adventists who believe that those who practice Sunday worship are worshiping another God and are lost.

•The Word of God is being preached with the anointing of God’s Spirit
•Faith is being built in the congregation to believe God for the promises that are in the Bible
•People feel free to lose themselves in worship and praise to God and if need be to dance before the Lord as David danced, or as expressed in Psalm 150
•People are coming into the fellowship and receiving the Holy Ghost and being baptized in Jesus name, in accordance with the message of the book that teaches the history of the early church.
•People are being taught that there is One God, and his name is Jesus
•People are taught to do all in the name of Jesus
•People’s lives are being changed; God is real in people’s lives
•The fellowship is impacting the city, feeding the poor, visiting the sick, visiting people in prison, and making a difference in those people’s lives
•I’m looking for a city whose builder and maker is God, and the walls of this city have 12 foundations, oh, and here I have no enduring city, but I’m looking for one that is to come. But while I’m a sojourner on this earth, and want to shake the gates of hell, and proclaim liberty to those who are bound, and set the captives free.

Well, you are in my prayers also, and I pray that your parting might be joyful, it needn't be a divorce from anything but the "religion" part, as you seem to be aware.

That is beautiful.
Thank you for expressing your thoughts in a positive way.

Hmm, only one "no" in the whole post, and that a virtual quote; no personal "no's" for your dream fellowship? I hope I am a member there, too : )
