Well for one we would not have The Christ, can anyone fathom how God could have come to redeem the world in a physical body without a woman?

As for a wife, the proverbs state "he that findeth a wife findeth a good thing"
It should be noted the word for "good" here in the Hebrew is the same word used in the creation, "and God saw that it was good".

Something else can be derived from this verse, while there are females everywhere to find a woman (wife) means that one is special. I too thank God for the wife of my youth, I found her when I wa 18, married 34 years now, she has been my lover, confedent, the one that I fought with, raised 4 children with, and I could go on but suffice it to say God could not have picked a better woman for me.

Wow-while I have known a few marriages in the range of 50 years, from what I'll term the previous generation, I note that marriages in the 20-40 year range are pretty tough to find. Congrats!
