With all do respect, the wording is quite clear. This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana. It does not say that this was the first of miracles to be done in Cana. The sentence structure is such that it insists that this was the first of Jesus miracles. In fact, the whole record states this. The discussion of Jesus and Mary is also indicitive that until this point no mighty acts have been worked.

The text says The beginning of miracles did Jesus In Cana of Galilee in order words this is the first miracle Jesus did in Cana of Galilee His second miracle in Cana Galilee happened in John 4 with the son of the noble man being brought back to life.
It could be possible perhaps that what took place in Mark chapter 1 could have happened first.

There they can find plenty of fault.
Now this is not to be contentious and this is just throwing out something out to ponder .Whatever miracle Jesus did perform first is not as important as the fact that the miracles of Jesus Christ are valid and The One True God still performs miracles today.

I do not see how you get that view, especially in the light of the rest of the passage when Jesus denies that His time is come. However, you are intitled to your view of that passage. I also find the word 'beginning' to be of importance as it was used and not the word 'first'.
