Shag, I would buy a lobster dinner gift certificate and a 100 $ Starbucks card and give it to my boss in front of clients. In turn, they would be so impressed with your generosity, they would surely want to know more about your faith...

Let us know how this turns out! I am excited for you!!

I read that and I nearly spit out my hot beverage on the table, while also nearly sending it down the wrong pipe, and dropping the glass in my lap. Thankfully none of those catastrophic events occured, but you really must be more careful of those of us with poor impulse control.

There was 2 men, one woman, and one child around the age of my 5 yr old daughter. One man was married to the woman, and was the father I beleive of the little girl.

As I did my job, the men went upstairs, and shortly there after, I began to smell pot fill the air once again. The mother went upstairs a few times, while the girl was downstairs in the kitchen while I was working. This about ripped my guts out.

I didnt know what to do. Could I do anything besides pray?

Just "living it" isnt good enough for me, in situations such as this. I want to do more. I suppose maybe all I can do is pray for wisdom of how to shine a light in these situations.

I talked to a friend and he said "invite them to church". I dunno.... Im in there less than an hour sometimes. Its hard to connect in a short time like that. Part of me wants to return and try to say something. The mother didnt even look like my picture of a pothead at all! And she was very nice.

As I left, the young girl was downstairs walking around brushing her teeth. I gave her a handout coloring book, where I had went outside to my vehicle to get it, and signed the back "Jesus loves you" John 3:16. Its all I could think of to do at the moment. I gave it to her and left. She was very thankful, and I watched her show it to her mother thru the window as I was walking away. (Her mother had heard the door shut, and came back downstairs)

I have to do more. I can not pass by these opertunitities to introduce our Saviour. I wish I knew what to do.

I think the numbers of pot smokers are huge - and quite often do not fit our preconceived notions about them. Many professionals smoke the stuff.

I don't think they are different than other people, though I can understand this pulling at your heartstrings - with the girl being present while they were breaking the law.
