Acts 2:38 was preached in my church this morning too.

That's really good. But does it count if Eddie didn't tell 'em about how women should have uncut hair and wear dresses and how men should never have a beard? (Just joking around, by the way! Don't skin me alive!)

Re: For My Ultra Con Friends......
We had a Community Day today. I brought in nine community ministries (RIFA, Teen Challenge, Birth Choice, Habitat, etc.). They all had tables set up for a ministry fair. Then besides the elected officials listed on the first post, we had in the fire chief and police chief and several of their men. We presented the fire department with a palatte of smoke detectors - about a thousand I think. They install them for free in houses of people who can't afford them. We gave the police department a couple of pieces of equipment that they were wanting and hadn't been able to buy.
I think they all loved the service. The police chief's wife was really worshipping. I think it let people in the community know that we really are SANE and not some weird cult. Lol! All in all, I felt like it was a very successful day. And the power of God was so strong - especially in the second service. It was awesome; I know they had to be touched in some way.
