Re: Have You Changed?

I have been involved in online forums for 15 years. My changes in theology and practice have been minimal in that same time period.

Some beliefs are more defined I think... While I never embraced pre/mid/post trib, Today I now am comfortable in stating I am partial preterist in eschatology.

Also, while I never thought all non OP were lost, I can now say I know I have alot of company (past and present) in believing salvation by faith in the work of the cross.

Yes, I have changed my views. When I first came to AFF, I thought you were all nuts....

Now I'm sure of it!

Re: Have You Changed?

I am pretty much unchanged in doctrine, a little more give and take on standards yet more defined in modesty.

The saddest thing I have gotten from here is from those that have been hurt by churches/pastors who in turn demonize entire orgs and seem to enjoy the attitude of division.

The wonderful thing I have gotten from here is the fellowship of the few who, despite the differences, continually produce the fruits of love and compassion towards the Body of Christ and contribute daily to greater understanding and study of that love and grace.

Re: Have You Changed?

Last major doctrinal change was 1991. Done with immortal soul doctrine. I have not changed anything because of AFF.

Re: Have You Changed?

Participation here hasn't changed any doctrines for me.

Mostly confirmed why I believe what/how I believe.
