the bible says he (Judas) didn't repent, so, it's not looking good for him imho

Refusing to sit under the false gospel and false doctrine of false teachers is not "forsaking the Assembly"
cause when judas died he was a disciple, they didnt become apostles until matthew 28, when Jesus sent them out to preach to the world
the word apostle by definition means one who is sent forth as a messenger, in contrast to a disciple who is a "student" that learns from a "teacher"..
though he was numbered as part of the 12 he never was a apostle, at the time he was a disciple, and a crooked one.
so the correct answer would be james
and matthais was the 12, Paul was the 13th
Scripture disagrees with you....
Mat 10:2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

this was also written some 40 years after his death as well
the bible says he (Judas) didn't repent, so, it's not looking good for him imho
Matthew 27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

Hebrews 13:23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty
Matthew 27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
Ok, scratch the "who was the first Apostle to burn in hell" question then.
That was possible repenting over his betrayal of Jesus, but what about the sin of killing himself?
