The FOX News web site routinly shows a slide show called "Stars without makeup" which is, you guessed it, candid shots of famous people sans any makeup. It is amazing how some of these people NEED their makeup artists and daily $500 visits to the hair stylists to look good. lol
There ARE some who look much better without anything -mainly because they wear way too much when they do. Then there are others who look good with it and without it simply because they are "babes" either way.
How would I rate myself? I lot lower now than I did 10 years ago. LOL
And what does the UPC have to do with the question?
I believe she is referring to the stereotypical frumpyness which many start to assume as early as their early 20's. (And you do not fit this appearance Cindy.....)

IMO some "stars" for lack of a better term and models are just UGLY. I have seen very many beautiful women that go to UPC churches, Baptists churches, etc. Without make up or fancy clothes.

I have a daughter modeling now, and those pictures are really beautiful, but seriously, there is so much editing...it is amazing what they do...they are really just ordinary looking people underneath.
(not exactly what I would want her to do..but she is 21)
