Amazing isn't it?

Equally shocking is the 110 Billion $$ figure we spend on fast food! This, at a time when the negative effects of obesity has surpassed those of drinking alcohol.

They drank wine in the bible, doesn't fit somes theology so they try to make it watered down nonalcohol but obviously what they drank could get one drunk, why else would Paul admonish church to not drink in excesss?

TS, I think Kclee is interested in knowing how we "feel" and practice alcohol consumption. Not whether the Bible permits it or whether they even had fermented wine in the New Testament.

Years ago, it was a more common argument to say there was "good wine" and "bad wine" - meaning nonalcoholic and alcoholic. But I think those taking this position are few and far between today. The irony is, the "good wine" likely had higher alcohol content than other wine.

New Living Translation (©2007)
"A host always serves the best wine first," he said. "Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best until now!"

Oh, well excuse me for going bible. Lol . Your right though.

We drink wine occasionally on anniversary. Doesn't make me want to hit the bars.

Re: Alcohol

I only use whisky, lemon juice and peppermint oil to treat severe colds & croup symptoms. There's less alcohol in it than a dose of nyquil, and it works much better.

Re: Alcohol

I just buy the stuff sold in the fanciest bottles. Oh yes, and Budlight Lime. I ONLY drink it on rare occasions, such as during a football game or while eating at a BBQ joint, and cook with it quite a bit as well(brats).
