Educational moment....
"Suck" ...... It is a reference to the Hoover Company when it was going through a bad patch with endless product recalls and plumetting stock price back in the 70s. 
And by the way, you should have never said anything about "googling..." There's more than a heart wants to hear about this subject. How do I know? Guess!
