What resource of God are you using to justify abortion ? The question can go both ways.
Knowing what scripture teaches us about Jesus Christ, can anyone honestly say that He would stand over a mother and approve the death of her unborn child because that child would simply be a burden on her ?

There's no clear example of defending what is just and right than to voice disapproval to abortion. Of course, part of justice and stamping out oppression, would need to come an openness in the Church to care for those who have had abortions, counsel those who are contemplating, and work through this very fragile reality as best we can.

the point I'm making is that God is not running the day to day affairs of mankind. I know the bible says that He appoints kings and rulers, but how do you explain china, Qadaffy and other dictators? If God appoints rulers, then he is resposible for abortion being the law of the land. How do you explain that? I personally don't support abortion but I support a woman's right to choose.

Pro choice is pro abortion.
In fact today, in the healtcare bill the word abortion has been scrubbed out. The vague expression is women's health. Womens health services are not defined in the laws. If I look for stats on abortion, i see Guttmacher institute. it is owned by Planned parenthood and also distorts and hides information.
Dr. Guttmacher was once the head of Planned parenthood. Planned parenthood is also Named in error. It is mostly abortion and contraceptives whcih prevent girls from being moms.

the difference is if I had a woman pregnant I wouldn't choose to abort but if a woman makes that decision I wouldn't be agaist it.
