There are a lot of rich Democrats.

Let me ask something..Obama said he was fine with high gas prices before his election. Why is that? Who gets hurt the most by high gas prices? Not the rich. The poor. They pay at the pump and increased cost of goods.

the same people that moan and groan over being poor are the same people that vote for some talking head who promises them a house, free health care etc etc. Whose only solution is to increase taxes...They tax the rich and they tax businesses and those businesses ship their jobs to cheaper over seas fields and the poor get poorer. Communism didn't make life better for the Russians or the Chinese. Only a few really benefitted. The rich stayed rich and the rest all became poor, no more middle class.

In America, when the gas prices are high and everyone but the rich is forced to drive small "Euro" type cars and the rich drive whatever they want,maybe you will realize that the "Democrats are for poor and Republicans are for rich" was just a smokescreen

There were two types of attempted theft on wall street 2 years ago. Obama tried to steal back compensation from the mega millionaire fund managers that they were paid under performance contracts.
The other was the crooked scheme to load them with extra punitive taxes because of their being on Wall Street.

It is simple. If a fund manager has 6 billion in a fund. he writes a contract for pay that says he gets a third of the increase if he takes the fund up 3 billion. The fund gets the rest. I know by contract law, he must get paid. Light thinks he is a thief by reason of earning 1 billion. Out of his billion, he has to pay bonuses for his quants and marketing people. He is paid to make other people money.

The government has a right to everyone's money. It's called taxes. The question is whether the government has the right to give people money and I think they do. I think the government has the right to do with its money whatever it wants... just like I think you have the right to do with your money whatever you want.

The government has a right to a certain percentage of my wages, but not enough that it will drive me into bankruptcy to survive. The fact of the matter is they ought to level a flat tax, cut all benefits packages, as well as nearly all foreign aid (all foreign aid to our enemies, and yes we still have them) and maybe we would start balancing our outrageous budget. The fact of the matter is that we have only a handful of politicians willing to say such thing, and none of them are in places of power to actually get the job done.
