The Bible says Act 15:26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I can't count the people who have done just that, gave their lives for the Word of God by takin up the serpent or drinkin poison.

I think OA is posting TIC (not really sure! ), but really, what are the other metaphors about?
1. In my name shall they cast out devils
2. they shall speak with new tongues

BTW, this is a list of signs. A sign is an indication of something. It's noticeable. It wouldn't be a sign if people couldn't see it. So, how does one see that a believer is metaphorically picking up snakes -- doing spiritual warfare?
