When I came home, there was an email from WNOP that she wasn't responding to treatment.

I am very sorry to read that she has passed...what a great woman of God!!

No one, and I mean no one could belt out the good old Apostolic songs like Sis. Urshan. She had that distinctive voice that once you heard one note, you knew it was her. She sang, "What a Lovely Name" one year at the CO camp meeting and wow it made an everlasting impression on this 16 year old kid. It is now one of my most favorite songs in the whole world.

It is a passing of a generation, I am happy that her suffering is over.

Maybe she'll get to sing "Harvest Time" in heaven!

I posted this on another thread. Thought that it might be more proper here:

Barb,

I also have so many PRECIOUS memories of them that I could never speak of them all. Some of those memories were one on one, campmeetings, conferences, untold many church services, baseball games, and the two nights that his Dad spent in our home so...so...long ago, his playing the piano and singing in that minor key. More memories indeed than I can ever recall on the spur of the moment. O! And then there was that awful stuff that he made us kids drink that he made that tasted awful as he declared that it was good for whatever ailed us. So many, so many memories.

I loved those dear people. Their memory will always be dear.

Or...

"The Devil Wears A Hipocrite Shoe" might be one of her favorites.
