LOL! I'm not sweating over it. Yes, it is just a cat. Now, I do shudder about putting one into special needs kids.

Sometimes this society really annoys me. They want to regulate and micromanage everything. I would like to hear some folks expound on their experiences or ideas concerning this on anything thought of, not just microchips.

There is no choice for me. I have no pet, but if I did I would have no qualms in putting an implant in him - even if I knew this was "the real Mark of the Beast". Who cares?

Well, obviously it is just a cat. But some don't want to help the system along any.

I have heard the chip called "LoJack for Cats" .
This is not exactly true. Our Dog was Microchipped, and I gave her to my sister when I moved. The dumb dog ran off and cost my sister $300. Of course, I was told this with the inference I should pay since it had been my dog. **cough**

To Bail "HoneyBee" out of the Dog Pound.

It is a "non profit" agency.

Seems I never changed the chip info and the former owners did not have the same phone number on the chip.

My sister said she was changing that!

Before we got this kitten, we tried to get a kitten from the humane society. They asked so many questions I felt interrogated and wanted a hefty fee. We left there and got a healthier looking one from a home.

"Honeybee" was from a Rescue Shelter. I got all the shots, and even hit up Petco and PetSmart for free food. Trouble was the dog was brilliant enough to stay inside with A/C on hot days and developed a lazy streak.
