Re: LS: " I don't buy all this rape business "

Here is an old sermon by this title ... published in November ... recently by Holy Ghost radio ...

http://holyghostradio.com/blog/2010/...f-forgiveness/

I'm triangulating the date based of its conception due to this ...

The quote is 1/3 into this 1998 message ...

He believes that many commit to consensual sex... and then change their stories because of the "voice of conscience".

He also believes that according to God's laws if you have sex with someone before marriage ... you are now "married" to that individual ...

It seems he was speaking of consenting adults.

Thus far the message is a call for holy conduct ... without the supernatural noise ... sorely missing in his repertoire today.

So, the voice of conscience covers sex guilt by crying RAPE??

I think he feels many young ladies or older ladies will claim rape to cover for their promiscuity?

I would be more careful with this type of rhetoric ... a consenting encounter could turn into rape ...

Re: LS: " I don't buy all this rape business "

Interesting testimony in the sermon ..... of an Apostolic man he claims was living in the gay lifestyle and one day some Christian worker came into a gay bar carrying a bible ... and came straight to him and simply said "In Jesus name" and walked out .... and the "gay" practitioner walked out of that bar "free".

You have that same type of power ... he tells the crowd.

Also he teaches those that have sex with that first person and then move on are also in adultery ..??

Re: LS: " I don't buy all this rape business "

Some odd teaching about soul splintering occurring during sexual fornication ... that part of their soul becomes forged to yours forever ...

He says the Dennis Rodman has allowed a part of Madonna's soul to attach to his and it explains some of his behaviors after the relationship.

You are not the same person ever again when you fornicate is the thrust.

He teaches that if you sleep with your wife you have attached yourself to the soul of the other men she has slept with ???

He also states to the young people in the crowd he can perceive if they are active because their is an innocence lost in their countenance.

I don't go into shock over anything that guy says anymore. By his definition of adultery we have a whole movement of people living in sin. Really, who waits until marriage? Not very many. As for the story of the gay man, I doubt the veracity (I used a big word) of that story. I do not doubt the power of God. Just reached a point where I got sick and tired of hearing fairy tales to back the gospel or to promote a man's ministry.

Of course one can confess your sins and then forgive ... to release this soul that has attached to yours <<< here it seems he speaking of those abused ???

God don't hold this against them ... and God will wash it with His blood. Washing your thoughts of revenge it seems ...

The soul attachment thing is weird.

Re: LS: " I don't buy all this rape business "

Soul splinters...heh. His take on the words of Jesus, you become one with the person that you join yourself with. In health class, mid and high school we were taught that when you have sex with a person, you are also habing sex with their previous partners, I think it was their way of telling us "ya never know who has the clap." As for the innocence lost in a persons countenance, I don't know how to respond. I have had some teens tell me "you're a virgin." AND I was thinking "if ya only knew the places I've been." But, if that was their perception of me then maybe God cleaned me up really good. Lol. Though, some do change... in attitude. I think guys with great confidence carry themselves with even greater confidence after getting a few notches on their bedpost. It's the animalistic nature of the beast.

Re: LS: " I don't buy all this rape business "

Odd non-sequitor message .. the bulk is scaring them into not fornicating and choosing to cleave to others souls through sex... then goes into a Dr. Phil soliloquy into forgiving those who have abuse you and the need to be free and release those souls attached to yours through violence and abuse ...
