I believe we have at least 3 mormon senators, Orrin Hatch, Bob Bennet and Harry Reid. We also have Mitt Romney, former gov of Mass. and presidential candidate.

How is being a Morman any different than being a Christian? Both religions rely largely on faith in terms of their beliefs.

I have several relatives who are Mormon, and they are wonderful people. While I do think some of their beliefs are goofy (a view they share about my religion, btw), I don't think it would necessarily affect their ability to be a good community leader or political activist.
