Haven't you heard the news lately, the economy is getting better. Of course it went down in a hurry when Bush was in, and it will be a slow process to get it back up again. Check out Detroit, the car company is back, I heard that in the news about two months ago. Isn't that great. Look it is going to take more than two years to get it done, if the republicans and the tea party will work with the democrats, let's just see what the next two years will hold, then maybe it will be another 4 years for President Obama.

Let's discuss unemployment rates for the last 10 years and then show me annual housing starts last 10 years. I may be missing some facts you have hidden.
Obama said with stimulus unemployment would not go above 8%. He meant with his plans, Unemployment rates would never go down to 9%.

I wonder if you will praise the lord for fillabuster, when the democrats use it in 2011....lol

check out that website for more information
By the way Sandie, I gave up drinking Kool-aid a long time ago, I can drink stronger stuff now....COFFEE .... you may be on baby formula, and still stinky your diaper. It is time for you to grow up and quit having tantrums.
You call MSNBC a bias source, where do you get your info from the KKK or Fox News.
I have tried to be nice to you, and you type in caps, in very large print, and the ones over this site don't see how you are treating me. What is venting, anyway?
Sandie you are a very rude person to discuss politics or anything else. Every time I post something you are like a dog on a bone. What is your problem? Well, it probably like all other republicans, they are what I call "Hot Heads', they won't tell actually where they get their facts, and when cornered for the facts, they jump up and leave the room. The truth hurts, is what I have been told, and seeing some of your actions, it seems to be the truth. You probably know several of the Administrators of this site, and you seem to be a person to get what you want, so what there are other sites on the internet. I thought this site were Christians, that could talk about issues, and stay Christians, but I don't know if my thinking was right. It appears not to be.

Re: Obama creates Russian jobs.
Coadie said....When minimum wage was raised, we lost 1-2 million jobs. Many manufacturing jobs leave. When Obama shoved his healthcare bill down our throats, we stopped another 2 million jobs.
Will you tell me where you got that information? I would like to check it out, because I don't believe it. I was glad when minimum wage was increased, so people trying to live a better life could get ahead. Groceries and gas went up due to the high oil prices, but the wages of the lowest paid workers did not. Finally, they can pay for groceries and get to work and have a little more left over. The Healthcare Reform has help so many Americans, why would anyone oppose the insurance companies paying for pre-existing conditions of children in America, or parents being able to keep there children on their insurance until they are 26 years old if they go to college. In a year or so, there will be no pre-existing conditions of adults that need insurance. You need to read the Healthcare Reform Bill for yourself, and you will see how it will help many people and also save our country millions of dollars. Or, just keep your head in the sandie, oh I meant sand.

You don't approach information with a rational mind. Would you be better off unemployed with minimum wage at 9 dollars or employed making 7.50?
Youth, new college grads minorities and unskilled workers are most of our unemployment. How did raising min wage help them?

Re: Obama creates Russian jobs.
The minimum wage right now is $7.25 for the employed. The top bracket for the unemployed I believe is $245.00 ( I could be wrong, but it was when my daughter received it )
I do not know where you got your information about $9.00 and $7.50. But the youth, and unskilled workers are who I am glad that received a wage increase. I am on disability and I know how hard it is, we have not had a cost of living increase for two years. Just for instance the coffee I drink did cost $1.69 a couple of years ago, and now it is $3.98. The cost of living goes up and it is time for the minimum wage to go up.
coadie said "You don't approach information with a rational mind. Would you be better off unemployed with minimum wage at 9 dollars or employed making 7.50?"
Your statement above, doesn't really make sense, no one is better off unemployed, people need a job no matter what the minimum wage is.

You need more money for disability. I remember when food and energy costs were removed as factors in creating cost of living indexes.
Part of the coffee price hike is the drop in the value of the dollar. I will ask my son how much 70 pound bags of green coffee beans cost. It is all imported and energy costs go up therefore food goes up for the second reason.
Obama is a disaster for our economy.

Applications..dropped by 34,000 to 388,000, the fewest since July 2008, the Labor Department said Thursday. The number of applications has either fallen or remained unchanged in five of the past six weeks. Fewer than 425,000 people seeking unemployment benefits signals modest job growth. But economists say applications need to fall consistently to 375,000 or below to bring down the unemployment rate. Applications for unemployment benefits peaked during the recession at 651,000 in March 2009. ( I believe President Obama took office on January 20, 2009, so this peak could not be on Obama, it must have been Bush)
By the way, I did COPY AND PASTE, from www.msnbc.com just this morning.
The debt is up, yes due to the tax breaks to the wealthiest 2% of Americans, which I did not agree with the compromise that President Obama did with the republicans in a closed door meeting. That will cost our country, but President Obama compromised to help 2 million Americans that needed unemployment. Sorry he caved in to the republicans.
I have the facts, it is you that don't have facts.
Have you heard in the news about how the republicans fillabuster everything that the democrats want to do to help the American people. Check out how many times that the republicans use the FILLABUSTER scheme to stop important Bill such as the H.R.5562, which would stop outsourcing jobs out of America.

SS - nice to see you back. When are you going to answer my questions that were posed in another thread?
Also, just for your information, the Democrats had a filibuster proof margin over the last two years. 60 votes for "cloture" mean that debate has ended and the bill has to be presented for vote.
So for a filibuster to be successful, some Democrats had to not vote for the debate to end.

Ross Perot years ago debated against Al Gore. He told Algore what the libs wanted to do would create a large sucking sound of jobs leaving the country. Guess what they are still watching the libs run off jobs.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Wow, you've got some nerve.
You expect the tax payer to give you a raise so you can continue to drink your 3.98 coffee!
Or you expect the hard working owners of businesses to pay out more of their already stretched dollar?
DRINK CHEAPER COFFEE....there, problem solved and the rest of poor slobs can keep more of our money.

I just saw this one.
You came out of the shoot calling repubs names, slamming Fox and being roundly critical of all things conservative.
Well, this is typical liberal whining....not surprised.
I don't know any of the administrators on this site, look to when I started posting. I'm fairly new.
You're just upset that your facts don't hold water and others are able to refute them and the liberal mindset you've brought to these forums.
I'm completley stunned that you would wonder if this site was Christian because you don't like my attitude. And I wonder how anyone can claim the Name of Jesus and support the whole sale slaughter of innocent unborn children. So, guess we're equally surprised.
