It seems unwise to base the entire existence of a church on one verse. Seems like you should look for one with a foundation built on the entire bible.

Nice website! Will keep checking back as it appears it's new ...
It's quite a haul from where I live, but something worth considering if/when I'm in the area for sure...

Well, you do have a good point. However, so many churches do just that as I'm sure you are aware. So, having a foundational scripture will do no harm that I can see of. Beside that, I was speaking from a salvational stand point...

In that case you should look for a church that bases its salvation on a verse that has something to do with salvation...a verse that specifically mentions it, such as Acts 16:31, or Romans 10:9-12, just to start.

And those verses too, because they come after Acts 2:38. But, this is not a debate on what TheIndependent sees as salvational. I was merely asking for input on Dallas churches who fall under a certain criteria. Thanks for your input.

Why, I believe you're trying to blow me off. Look, you're the one looking for a church that has only one verse in its Bible. I'm just trying to help.
The verses I listed come after Acts 2:38? What's that got to do with the price of gas at Chevron?

CJ, does your church teach universalism or is that only a personal view of yours?

Biblical Universal Reconcilation, as taught in the scriptures, I embrace and teach, it is not an official teaching of LHC.
