Do you think that matters to its relevancy of being false or true?

If it is purported to be the reason, yes.

So if someone can claim healing, that is enough to substantiate doctrine?

If that is your standard for determining biblical truths, then I'd be going to great pains of proving this healing. A man come out of a lifetime of paralysis? A blind man seeing? A man with an amputed leg growing back? Medical records? Understanding the condition. No lukewarm, could-go-either-way bologna

No, just the opposite. The reasoning as I understand it for the practice is. That if someone lays their hair on a sick person, they will be healed. I was just wondering if anyone had actually seen this done, and the person be healed.

What say ye?????
Amazing that even though we have an example of miracles being tied to spit, mud, clothes, pools, we don't practice these things today, we teach on laying of hair; which is never spoken of in the bible, nor even referenced in the slightest way. (1 Cor 11:10 doesn't count)

I have heard of people using those things, and seen it too..

I know good people that don't connect themselves with the HMH but do not cut their hair, they are not saying ladies are going to hell if they cut their hair yet they do think it is important and apart of their consecration to God.. where do they fit in this whole process of thinking?

If they do it as a discipline or consecration, wonderful. That's a slim minority I'd imagine.

But HMH suggest, like other false biblical doctrines, that we can do enough to earn God's goodness or satisfy God's demands. The Gospel importance of Jesus is somehow missing. It's idolatry in that context.
